Rediscovering Nelson by Colin White

Colin White, formerly Deputy Director of the Royal Naval Museum, will reveal the new insights he is uncovering into the life and career of Admiral Lord Nelson, to be given in the Princess Royal Gallery at the Royal Naval Museum in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard on Saturday 29 March 2003 at 2 pm.

In his new post as Director, Trafalgar 200 at the National Maritime Museum at Greenwich, Colin White has been scouring the Museum's extensive archives, as well as travelling the length and breadth of the country to study Nelson letters in private collections. He promises that the results of this research will challenge the traditional view of Nelson's battles and his relationships.
