Royal Naval Museum

The Naval Academy
October 2000 - March 2001

In this new outreach initiative, the Royal Naval Museum is offering a range of one-day seminars, designed to appeal to all those with an interest in the history and development of the Senior Service, and not just scholars and experts.

The Museum has recently opened a series of new exhibitions - each of which has been highly acclaimed. A key feature of the project was that each exhibition was based on the very latest research into the subjects they cover. In this inaugural series of seminars, Museum staff, and other scholars involved, will share their insights in more detail.

Each seminar will begin at 10:30 and last until about 16:00. The usual format will be three lectures, each lasting about an hour, with an opportunity to visit the gallery under discussion during an extended lunch break. Admission to the whole Museum will be included in the price of a ticket.

25; 15 for seniors; full-time students and unwaged.
