Hell Afloat?
Challenging the myths about the Sailing Navy

Many myths have grown up around the Sailing Navy of Nelson's Day, specially concerning the quality of life afloat.

This seminar challenged some of those myths and offerd a more balanced picture of this key period in our maritime history.

It included a guided visit to the Museum's new exhibition, The Sailing Navy.
