Women at Sea

Queen Alexandra's Royal Naval Nursing Service Nurses on World War II Hospital Ship

The Royal Naval Museum is currently preparing plans for a major series of new exhibitions on the Royal Navy in the Twentieth Century. One of the key topics which will be covered is the changing role of women at sea since World War Two.

The seminar will include privileged access to the Museum's WRNS Historic and QARNNS Collections.

           Royal Naval Museum

14:30 : Lecture Three : 'Never at Sea?' WRNS - transition to integration and Sea Service
           Commander Rosie Wilson and Captain Julia Simpson

15.30 : Question and answer session
