Trafalgar Night Dinner
Thursday 30 October 2003
On Thursday 30th October 2003 the Royal Naval Museum hosted its fourth Trafalgar Night Dinner. Our guest of honour, Admiral Sir Jonathon Band KCB, Commander in Chief Fleet, proposed the toast to The Immortal Memory, and Nicholas Owen, ITV Reporter and former Royal Correspondent gave a very interesting and amusing address.Mrs Sue Goodger
This event is proving very popular, attracting over 100 guests, some of whom have attended each year. The Dinner raises funds to help the Museum in its work of preserving and presenting the history of the Royal Navy. Tickets are sold individually at £200 per person or £1,750 for a table of ten. The price includes a Champagne Reception in the Nelson Gallery, and a five-course dinner with wine and port. The Fort Cumberland Guard add colour to the evening by parading the Baron of Beef.
