Corporate Entertaining

The Royal Naval Museum, Portsmouth, tells the 800 year story of the Royal Navy and provides a unique venue for corporate hospitality. The Museum also offers a small range of special hospitality events

The galleries offer a wide range of options : 

The Princess Royal Gallery can accommodate up to 120 guests;

the Victory Gallery up to 200 guests; and

the Nelson Gallery up to 50 guests.

We offer a 25% discount to Naval Charities, and a 15% discount to all other charities

The Nelson and Victory Galleries are only available during day by prior arrangement, and this may incur a 50% surcharge

Green Parrot Catering and County Caterers are the Museum’s recommended caterers.  Both companies offer a very high standard of cuisine, providing menus for events including:

  • Breakfast meetings
  • Finger buffets
  • Hot and cold fork buffets
  • Drinks receptions
  • Dinners

Nearby Accomodation for guests staying overnight, may use the facilities of the Royal Maritime Club (formerly the Home Club) in Queen Street

Charges can vary according to the number of those attending the event. 

All bookings include staffing for each event.

All bookings include free use of a Laptop, Data Projector, Projection Screen, and Lectern.

Additional facilities may be available, including PA systems, and flipcharts.

A contract, together with terms and conditions of hire will be provided.

A signed contract and deposit are required to secure a booking.

Cancellation: Confirmation of cancellation of any function must be in writing with as much notice as possible. The Royal Naval Museum reserves the right to retain a deposit paid if less than one month’s notice is given.

Royal Naval Museum Special Events

Each year the Museum raises much-needed funds in order to assist in its work of preserving and presenting the history of the Royal Navy by hosting a Trafalgar Night Dinner and Patrick O’Brian Weekends.  Both events have proved to be extremely successful.
